Final 2016 last blog post

thank you for coming to visit my learning blog. This will be my last post because I am leaving Waikowhai Primary. I have enjoyed using this blog to share my learning with you all. I hope you have enjoyed reading about my learning too.

We did a game that James made to help us practise in cyber smart learning this year.
I did one of these games and had to answer what the short cuts to some of these questions.
i have to find what the short cuts do this were.

Sifa travelled 2,118 km to get to NZ
Maanov travelled 2,000 km to get to NZ
Caroline travelled 2,820 km to get NZ


Why did people choose to make it to other countries?

My grand pa had a friend from NZ who was living in Afghanistan and then he went back to NZ and my grand pa asked if he could be sponsored to NZ because there was to much war there so my grand pa got sponsored and took his family with him for a better life.
Most people come all over the world to USA, AUZZIE, NZ EUROPE countries because of the war happening in bad countries.

Is this a trend in NZ society? What does the media tell us?
 
This is a trend thousands and thousands of immigrants are coming into NZ because of the pollution and war that is happening in their own countries.

I am learning to work independently.

We did something on were the parts of a CB  came from  and what it was made out of, how it travelled all the way to our school.

We were asked to read a journal and write about it in these questioning boxes and then had to create a new post and write a little blurb under the screenshot. The journal was named On Stage I loved reading the awesome journal.

Salam today we have been learning about a good blog comment and being positive, thoughtful and helpful on fixing other people's commenting and making it better. First we added a greeting for the comment, then we improved their comment to make it better so the reader can understand what he is trying to write to him.

We gave the person a good comment and were positive helping him with his comment. We wrote what our favourite thing was and made a link of our blog so he can visit what our school has  been doing on blog commenting. 

what makes a good blog comment Padlet

In cyber smart today we were learning about a good blog and were writing on our Padlet what makes a good blog. We needed to open up Padlet and write a whole lot of things about what a good blog comment needs when writing a blog comment to someone on their blogs. To comment on some ones blog we need to open up their blogs and reply with something  positive to the person so the person would be able to see what you have stated to him/her. When commenting you need to check you have good punctuation, capital letters and full stops.

working on my before and after cyber smart work

In cyber smart James (cyber smart teacher) explained to us to go to our Blog's and see one of our posts.
Then he told us to click on the pencil under on of your post. Then we had to edit it and write what the post was about.

24 hour digital blogging

This is my 24 hour digital footprint. 

The bigger words are what i have taken most of my time on. 

The small words are what i have not taken most of my time on in class or during work time.

Witch sites do you spend the most on and why?

Why do you think the word (google) comes a lot of times when you check through yore history?

Do you think it would be different if you did this activity on a weekend? WHY?

I think I spend most of my time on typing club

to get my typing skills better. 

if it was on a Sunday i would think it would make difference because it would Friday 24 hours before it.

i think the word Google comes up a lot because people use it most of the time for videos or other things.\
